galaxy-tab-3-liteSamsung has already sent the press invites to their Mobile World Congress 2014 press event, where the company is expected to unveil the highly rumored Samsung Galaxy S5, the latest flagship device. In addition, a rumor has it that Samsung will unveil the successor of the not-so-successful Galaxy Gear smartwatch at the event.

If you’re thinking this is it for Samsung, think again. A new rumor suggests that Samsung will unveil another tablet, the Galaxy Tab 4, at the event. According to the report, the tablet will come in three versions, with a 7-inch, 8-inch and 10.1-inch display respectively. The details about the specifications are scarce, but they are rumored to launch with quad-core processors, possibly Samsung’s Exynos ones.

Additionally, it’s expected to ship with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed out of the box, with 1/1.5GB of RAM on board, along with a pretty affordable price tag. It seems Samsung wants to increase its market share in the tablet market, as the company recently unveiled the NotePro and TabPro tablets last month at the CES 2014.

Mobile World Congress 2014 will kick off in its full force in less than two weeks from now in Barcelona, Spain. The event will kick off on February 24th until Feb. 27th, so you should mark you calendar. We’ll update you if any other information comes up.
