While everybody else is launching high-end flagship smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2014, HTC for its part is focusing on the mid-range phone instead. And so the company has just introduced the HTC Desire 816. a mid-range handset that takes its design cue from one of the most succesful in HTC’s lineup of smartphones, the HTC One family. As such it features vibrant, modern colour designs and high-quality materials.
According to HTC CEO, Peter Chou, the Desire 816 has everything that a consumer would look for in a mid-range smartphone.

Under the hood, the HTC Desire 816 boasts a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 5.5-inch screen, 13MP rear-facing camera with HTC Zoe and automatic highlight videos, 5MP front-facing camera and 4G LTE. The device is also packed with dual-frontal speakers and HTC Boom Sound to produce high quality audio. It is also installed with HTC Blink Feed that will keep you updated with the latest news and social updates.
The HTC Desire 816 will available in April 2014. It will come pre-installed with the latest version of HTC Sense.
