Believe it or not, I survived one month of working just using my iPhone. I blog here from my smartphone using a WordPress App. It’s not ideal but I have no choice because my MacBook Air is being repaired. The situation made me realize that people can really work mobile now from anywhere. All you need is WiFi or 3G/4G/LTE and you can report to your boss. Of course, it’s not always the case for everyone but I’m sure you geeks can relate.

More and more people are using their smartphones compared to PCs. It’s not surprising because we’ve seen this pattern before. A recent study by Nielsen once again proves that smartphones are more preferred for surfing than on computers these days. The findings are concentrated on the British, Americans, and Italians.

In Italy, people spend about 37 hours average in a month on phones and only 18 hours on PCs. Most of these hours were spent on social websites/apps like Facebook and Twitter.

In the US, about 67% of those who own mobile phones own smartphones. They spend 34 hours on their smartphones–showing a six hour increase compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, the Brits spend 41 hours.
