Microsoft already has a new CEO in Satya Nadella. The software giant didn’t get someone from outside. People are expecting changes to happen in the next few months within the company starting with former Windows executive Julie-Larson Green now assigned as Applications and Services Group’s Chief Experience Officer. She will be reporting to Executive Vice President Qi Lu.
Meanwhile, her role at the Microsoft hardware development as lead in the Devices and Studios Group will be filled in by Stephen Elop. Yes, that’s Nokia’s Elop who is joining as one of Microsoft’s top executives.
All these changes are happening as part of Microsoft’s purchase of the devices and services business of Nokia. The deal is expected to be finished before the quarter ends.
