Asus PadFone Infinity Lite

Asus won’t halt the PadFone series anytime soon because it’s selling in the market. It may not be very popular but more people are aware of the phablet compared to its rivals. Asus just introduced a follow up to the PadFone: the Asus PadFone Infinity Lite.

The Lite suffix means two things to me: that it’s light or the device has less features. In this case, it’s the latter as the new PadFone only runs a quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor. That is lower than the previous model’s 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800.

Specs of the Asus PadFone Infinity include Android 4.1 Jelly, 5-inch phone display, 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, 32GB built-in memory, 13 megapixel camera, and 2GB RAM on the phone. The tablet dock boasts of a 10.1-inch display and a 5,000 mAh battery.

The Asus PadFone Infinity Lite will be ready in Taiwan next month starting at $463, plus $230 for the tablet dock.
