Another day, another rumor. Not about any ordinary smartphone but about possibly a Quad HD phone by Huawei. We heard that a Samsung Galaxy S5 Quad H5 version might arrive and then there’s Oppo with the Find 7. And of course, the first Quad HD phone in the world, the Vivo Xplay 3S which is already available for purchase. After all these, Huawei seems to be following suit with a high-res display phone.
Nothing official yet but Huawei News is reporting that the Huawei Quad HD phone will be unveiled by September of this year. Quad HD Phone is expected to be complete with a 5-inch screen display and an octa-core 2.0GHz HiSilicon K3V3 processor under the Ascend D series with a $633 price tag.
But before we see this phone, we hope to see the Huawei Ascend D3 first and the Huawei Ascend G6 4G smartphone. The Ascend D3 will replace the Ascend D2 and will also boast an octa-core chip plus 16 megapixel camera. The Ascend G6 4G if you would remember, was unveiled last week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and packed with the following: 4.5-inch qHD display, 5M front-facing camera, and Emotion UI 2.0.
So more new phones from Huawei? Let’s wait and see if and when they become official.
