It has become a norm for handsets to get dust and water-resistant certifications. Sony has received its fair share of success with its Xperia line up being dust and water-resistant. It’s not just Sony; Samsung also released its later flagship device with IP67 certification making the handset dust and waterproof. Now, it seems LG is going to follow the same route with the alleged LG G3, which is expected to see the light of the day later this year.
The report surfaced from Korean shores which suggest both traits will be present in the alleged flagship device. As such, there’s no official word from the company about the handset or its launch, but rumors suggest LG will unveil the handset in June.
As far as other specifications are concerned, the handset will rock a 5.5-inch display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, and should come with LG Odin processor, which is manufactured in-house. What’s even more surprising is that LG has managed to keep the device as a secret, as we’ve yet to see any leaked image or a press render of the purported handset.
But, if it’s set to launch in June, it shouldn’t be long before we’ll see rumors popping up all over the internet about its specifications, and possibly some leaked images. We’ll update you if any other information comes up.
