Nikon has unveiled its latest offering in the Nikon 1 series of camera, the Nikon 1 V3 DSLR. According to Nikon, the 1 V3 camera is the world’s fastest continous shooting rate with AF tracking, performance with tracking of movings subjects that exceeds that of digital SLR camera and is capable of full scale operation. Of course, the Nikon 1 V3 camera has interchangeable lens.
Sporting a compact and lightweight body, the Nikon 1 V3 DSLR camera tracks moving subjects through its 105 focus points when phase-detection AF is used. When contrast-detect AF is in use, the camera boasts of 171 focus points. The camera also happens to be the first Nikon camera equipped with a vari-angle LCD monitor that lets you do flexible shooting from any angle.Completing its major features are new intuitive touch-screen control and built-in WiFi.
For its technical specifications, the Nikon 1 V3 DLSR camera is also fully loaded starting from its 18.4-million pixel super high-speed AF CMOS sensor. This sensor has not low-pass filter. It also uses the EXPEED 4A image-processing engine.
The Nikon 1 V3 retails for $1,200 which include the full kit with camera, 10-30mm lens, viewfinder and grip. It will go on sale b April 2014.
