Samsung releases Galaxy Core Advance, more smartphone accessories

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has now been confirmed. No more waiting and guessing what it looks like. All we need to do now is wait until the new Android flagship smartphone becomes available in the market. Its launch doesn’t mean Samsung will just forget about its other phones. In fact, the South Korean giant is releasing a slew of new accessories for the Galaxy Core Advance mobile device.

Samsung released the Ultrasonic Cover, Optical Scan Stand, and Voice Label. The new accessories promise to enhance the mobile phone and connect with the Galaxy Core Advance.

Here’s a rundown of the accessories:

Ultrasonic Cover can detect obstacles and navigate places by sending and alert through TTS feedback or vibration; can enhance awareness of a visually impaired user by sensing his presence

Optical Scan Stand helps the device to focus on printed material and activate the Optical Scan app; can recognise text from an image; useful when user is alone

Voice Label allows users to tag voice labels and and make notes by distinguishing objects; with NFC technology, users can access their notes and record

Meanwhile, Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Core Advance complete with HSPA, Krait Dual Core 1.2 GHz, 4.7” WVGA TFT, 1GB RAM, microSD card slot, 5MP AF + VGA camera, 2,000 mAh battery, WiFi, NFC, and FM radio. Other features include the following: Sound & Shot, Group Play, S Translator, Easy Mode, S Voice, S Beam, Instant Voice Recorder, Optical Scan, Light Sensing, Voice Guidance.
