Every day there’s a new innovation in the wearables department, and today it’s all about Google’s innovation. Tuesday, Google announced a new version of its Android software for wearable devices called Android Wear.
While Google maintains that Android Wear is designed for all wearables, the company stated that Android Wear will start with the obvious: the smartwatch.
With Android Wear, users can have all their critical information at their fingertips, such as social media, instant messages and photos and directions to wherever you need to go.
For that extra push, Android Wear is voice-enabled and like Google Now and Google Glass, it responds to the command “OK Google.”
