Samsung today has announced its latest offering, a camera that will definitely cater to those who like taking selfies – the Samsung NX Mini. Say goodbye to those blurry selfies taken by your smartphones folks. Samsung believes the selfie or its variant, wefie is here to stay. So why not make those pictures even better without the need for the front-facing camera?
Samsung says that the NX Mini is their lightest and thinnest interchangeable-lens camera. It’s trendy body which will be available in various colors weighs only 158 grams and has a slim 22.5mm body.
The camera sports a flip-up and touch display that flips by 180-degrees allowing you to see yourself (and your friends) while you hold the camera at arms length to take your selfie shot.
As mentioned, the Samsung NX Mini features an interchangeable lens. Samsung has introduced three lenses so far together with the NM Mini. These are NX-M 9mm F3.5 ED lens, NX-M 9-27mm F3.5-5.6 ED OIS lens, and NX-M 17mm F1.8 OIS lens. Finally, the Samsung NX Mini boasts of a 20.5MP BSI CMOS Sensor, built-in flash, NFC and Wi-Fi, MP4 and full HD video recording and optical image stabilizer.
Scheduled for release sometime next month, the Samsung NX Mini will retail for $550. The price comes with a free copy of Adobe Lightroom 5.
