I’m not really familiar with Karbonn Mobiles but we learned last week that it recently became one of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 hardware partners. And now we learn that the Indian phone manufacturer will be releasing a dual OS phone. No need to decide whether you actually want a Windows Phone or an Android phone because you can have both with Karbonn’s latest offering.
The dual mobile OS smartphone will be ready by June and out in India but we can expect it to be available in the Middle East, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
“Microsoft has eased the regulations and is opening up its platform for other players. We signed the agreement two days ago and will launch a range of Windows Phones in about three months.”, shared Sudhir Hasija with The Times of India.
This partnership with Microsoft was announced at the Mobile World Congress, allowing Karbonn to join the ranks of HTC, ZTE, Lenovo, and LG. As usual, no mention of pricing yet.
