Pre-order for AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S5 starts today. And this just in: Sprint’s Galaxy S5 is coming this April. Sprint is quick to follow AT&T with this announcement.
Mobile carrier Sprint has also started to take pre-orders for the latest Samsung Android flagship phone. As for the pricing, the Galaxy S5 smartphone is $199.99 with a two-year agreement and a $50 main-in rebate. Unlocked and with no contract, it’s at $649. Sprint Easy Pay subscribers can get it for $27 per month for 2 years. Sprint’s offering will also include the Shimmery White and Charcoal Black models.
What’s good about Sprint’s Galaxy S5 is that it supports the tri-band Sprint Spark network, allowing users to enjoy up to 60Mbps download speed.
Aside from the Samsung Galaxy S5, Sprint has also started to accept pre-orders for the Samsung Gear 2 and Samsung Gear 2 Neo. The Tizen-powered smartwatches are priced at $299 and $199, respectively.
After AT&T and Sprint, I wonder which mobile carrier will make the same announcement.
