Back at the Mobile World Congress 2014, Motorola mentioned it will launch the highly customizable Moto X in India and Australia. It’s been a few days since the Moto X hit retail in India, and now it seems it has made its way to Australia as well. Users interested in the Moto X can grab the handset for just AU$549 for the 16GB SIM-free version.
Unfortunately, the Moto X will only be available in black and white at launch, with no word about the Moto Maker customization. In addition, the handset will be available in-store and not online. The handset might be a little late to the party, since it has already made its way to a number of locations globally, including US, UK, India, France and Germany. Nonetheless, it’s better to be late then never.
As a quick reminder, Moto X comes with a 4.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a dual-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor under the hood, 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage, 10MP ClearPixel camera for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera, a 2,200 mAh battery and runs the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat as its operating system.
So, who’s getting the Moto X in Australia?
