Rarely do we see hot high-end gadgets discounted in their first few months of existence, but two promotions before a smartphone can even turn one week old? That’s utter madness!
And yet it’s exactly what Verizon has done with the spanking new, sizzling hot HTC One (M8). Right off the bat, Big Red offered the Android-running bad boy on a BOGO deal, meaning qualifying customers willing to subscribe to a couple of 24-month contracts could buy two M8s at the price of one: $200.
Making matters sweeter, a bill credit worth $100 was granted for every purchase through March 31. And earlier today, we received a tip about a trick allowing you to shave an extra 60 bucks off the phone’s on-contract price.
Before checking out online, all you need to do is add the “VERIZON30” coupon code, and voila, the two all new Ones you’re entitled for will cost a measly $140. In total. If somehow the code fails to work (though it won’t), “VZWDEAL” can be used instead, discounting the BOGO Ones to $149.99.
Not as lucrative, but still crazy affordable. I mean, even Samsung fans have to admit there’s not much to choose between the One (M8) and their precious Galaxy S5 hardware or software-wise. They’re equally as formidable, so Verizon’s promo may well tip the balance in HTC’s favor.
