Microsoft’s annual Build conference is just around the corner, where the Redmond-based company is expected to make some important announcements, including the launch of the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, along with a bunch of devices running it. We may also see some sort of information about the Windows 8.1 Update 1.
For those of you who are attending the event in San Francisco, make sure you have the CH9 Events app installed on your device, which will list information about all the sessions, the speakers and venue location on your handset. Once installed, you can link the app with you Channel 9 account to enable sync. The app is available for both Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8, as well as Android and iOS.
“View session, speakers, venue information (including maps) and more from Build, TechEd and other Microsoft events. Plan your session attendance with or without network access (once you’ve downloaded the session catalog, it is available offline!) and your schedule is kept in sync with the same schedule available online on Channel 9,” the app description reads.
There’s an unofficial Build application in the Windows Phone store as well which can help users follow all the sessions at the big event. Microsoft has also created a list of events which will take place at the Build 2014 conference. You can check them out here and short list the ones you are going to attend.
How many of you are planning to attend the conference this year in San Francisco?
