Sony unveiled their latest flagship device, the Sony Xperia Z2, at the Mobile World Congress back in February. The device is yet to hit retail globally, but for those of residing in Singapore, there’s some good news for you if you’re waiting for the flagship to arrive in the region.
Sony Singapore has announced the handset will hit retail in the country from April 5th from major carriers, including M1, Singtel and Starhub. As far as the pricing details are concerned, the carriers will reveal the pricing plans for the Sony Xperia Z2 on the launch day.
If you pre-order your device ahead of the April 5th launch, you will get Sony Smartband free of cost, but that’s possible too while the stock lasts so you need to hurry if you fancy the Sony Xperia Z2.
For those of you who needs a refresher, Sony Xperia Z2 rocks a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a quad-core 2.3Ghz Snapdragon 801 chipset with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM on board. On the storage side, it comes with a 16GB storage with expandable memory via a microSD card slot with support for up to 128GB.
Other features include a 20.7MP camera with 4K video recording capabilities as well as a 2.2MP front-facing camera, a massive 3,200 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.
