Huawei sent out press invites for an event taking place on May 7th in Paris, where the company is expected to unveil the Huawei Ascend P7. In the past few weeks, we’ve seen a couple of rumors and leaks giving us a glimpse of Huawei’s upcoming flagship device. If you can’t recall, a report earlier this month also mentioned Ascend P7 will see the light of the day in May, and it seems it was correct after all.
For those of you who need a refresher, the Huawei Ascend P7 is rumored to come with 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the handset is expected to ship with a quad core HiSilicon processor clocked at 1.6GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage with a microSD card slot.
Rumors suggest it will come with a 13MP rear camera for photos and videos with an impressive 8MP front-facing camera, as well as the latest Android 4.4 KitKat with Huawei’s Emotion UI 2.0 as its operating system out of the box.
There’s no word from Huawei as of now about the launch of the rumored Huawei Ascend P7, but we’ll get back to you as soon as there is something. Until then, mark your calendar for May 7th.
