The HTC One mini 2 rumor-palooza is officially out of control, as various pictures of the device, including live photos, keep piling up, presumably to the sheer desperation of the Taiwanese company’s top brass.
And if last week’s pic didn’t reveal so very much, starring a One mini 2, aka One M8 mini, tucked into a vigilant protective case, the latest batch of images leaves little to the imagination. Make that nothing.
Intriguingly, when captured out in the wild, the diminutive flagship flaunted snazzy yellow accents on the sides and rear, playfully complimenting the elegant but somewhat overly serious silver chassis. Of course, we could be looking at a doctored photograph or an experiment of some kind, though personally I’d love, love, love it if HTC offered such an original, spirited color combo.
The standard options however are bound to remain full silver, grey and gold, as @evleaks suggests with his newest press-friendly, high-resolution leak, all three variants unsurprisingly ditching the full-sized One M8’s funky Duo Camera setup in favor of a more straightforward, traditional single megapixel snapper.
Any other major aesthetical differences between the two? Not that I can detect. Naturally, the One mini 2 is a lot smaller than HTC’s 2014 flagship, also packing less punch under the hood and a lower-res 4.5-inch display: quad-core Snapdragon 400 chip and 1,280 x 720 pixels respectively.
