Back in May, LG released their flagship device, the LG G3, which is confirmed to land on all major US carriers in the coming weeks. T-Mobile and Sprint have already announced the availability of the LG G3 — set to launch on July 16th and 18th, respectively.
Recently, AT&T also took the wraps off the device, and mentioned it will hit retail from July 11th. However, customers interested in the handset can pre-order the device from July 8th for zero down and no annual contract on AT&T Next plan. AT&T may be the first carrier, since Verizon hasn’t announced the availability date, to offer the LG G3 to its users.
“We’ve been working diligently to be the first U.S. carrier to offer the brand new LG G Watch and among the first to offer the LG G3 smartphone on the nation’s most reliable 4G LTE network,” said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president – Devices, AT&T. “AT&T offers one of the largest and best selections of LG devices and these products take our device portfolio to the next level. The LG G3 is a cutting-edge device and our first in a next-gen Quad HD display.”
LG G3 rocks a beautiful 5.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, and comes with a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC on board clocked at 2.3GHz. There’s no word about the RAM, but it could be the one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Other specifications include 13MP camera, 2MP front-facing camera, a 3,000 mAh battery, and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat as its operating system.
As for the pricing, the handset will be available for zero down and no annual contract, with monthly payments of $24.17 per month with AT&T Next 18, $29 per month with AT&T Next 12, or $199 with a two-year agreement.
