An additional 17 languages are now being supported in the Fleksy keyboard app, and the language expansion comes shortly after Fleksy announced that it would launch a keyboard app for the Gear 2 smartwatch. There are now 37 languages supported through the popular third-party keyboard. Among the latest additions are Catalan, Hebrew, Croatian, and Romanian.
Certain languages have been expanded upon as well, such as English with the addition of UK English. Along the same lines as UK English are other regional variations like Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portugese, and French Canadian. With all of the new languages and variants, there are few people who will not be able to use Fleksy.
For the time being, beta users will be the only ones with access to the latest set of 17 languages, and those who are interested will have to apply to join the beta program. Getting in is not terribly difficult, though it may be worth waiting a little while for the languages to move out of beta anyways.
Fleksy is a very well-known keyboard in the Google Play store, but it was also one of the first to announce that an iOS version of the app would be coming out. Apple recently announced that it would allow for third-party keyboard, which opens up Fleksy to even more potential users.
