Over the weekend, some images of the alleged Sony Xperia Z3 made their way to the internet showing us what the upcoming flagship from Sony will come with. And now, an alleged device with a model number D6603 passed through the FCC, believed to be the upcoming Sony Xperia Z3.
There’s an interesting thing to note here. Usually when Sony announces its flagship devices, US seems to be one of the last markets where the handsets reach, but things might be different this year. Sony Xperia Z3 could make its way to the US at the same time as it launches in other major markets.
Sony is expected to announce the purported Xperia Z3 at IFA 2014 in Berlin later this year. Spec-wise, the Sony Xperia Z3 is expected to bring a 5.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a quadcore Snapdragon 805 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, possibly with Android 4.4 KitKat as its operating system.
There’s no confirmation from Sony about this, but we’ll update you if we get any information about it.
