Everybody ready to greet Samsung’s “next big thing”? Perfect timing, as the Galaxy Note 4 might be exactly 30 days away from a glitzy, high-profile “Unpacking.” The September 3 announcement date was rumored once before, and now it’s pretty much set in stone, following the disclosure of a press invitation.
The invite has September 3 written in black and white, with 2 pm Berlin time as the gathering’s likeliest start moment, although following the initial unveil, Sam Mobile seems to have wiped out any trace of the information spill.
Normally, that would signal a hoax, but since Samsung has always brought Galaxy Note family members to the capital of Germany prior to the IFA tech fair in early September, we reckon the leak is legit; it just wasn’t supposed to hit the interwebs so soon.
Notice that the Note 4 name isn’t mentioned anywhere in the revealed text, nor is it hinted, so keep an open mind as to other imminent Samsung-produced gear. That’s in addition to the next-gen state-of-the-art phablet, as once again, the 5.7-incher is undoubtedly near. With a UV sensor, metal “frame,” Quad HD display, fingerprint recognition technology and, possibly, a retina scanner too.
I’m guessing if you weren’t before, now’s a pretty good time to get psyched over the Apple “iPhablet‘s” fiercest rival.
