Galaxy Note Pro 12.2While waiting for the no doubt groundbreaking, Quad HD display-toting, potentially metal-made Galaxy Note 4, hardcore fans of Samsung’s S Pen-supporting gadget line may be tempted by the family’s largest member yet.

Only the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is pretty really expensive via retailers like Amazon or Best Buy, not to mention in 4G LTE-enabled variations carried by Verizon or AT&T. Good thing there are ways of getting it on the cheap, and no, we don’t mean picking it up at the corner of a shady street, from a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy who scored a dozen of these babies after falling off a truck.

Nope, we’re talking legal, legit, trustworthy channels, such as Staples, where the Note Pro is available at $550 for a limited time, and eBay, where you can get it for as little as $430. Of course, there is one catch about the latter deal.

You won’t enjoy the perks of a full, standard one-year Samsung warranty, but instead only be ensured for 90 days. That’s because you’re looking at a refurbished 12-inch Android slab, although aside from the warranty inconvenience, you have nothing to worry about.

All Samsung refurbs are professionally reconditioned and made to look like brand new, plus how long do you think the previous owner got to use this baby? It’s been around for merely six months, so worst case scenario… six months.

The eBay seller isn’t a problem either, having a top-rated badge and 99.1 percent positive feedback, but hurry, limited quantities are available and over 260 units have been sold at the time of this writing. Remember, $430 is around $270 off the Note Pro’s list price and therefore a bargain.
