HTC has done a commendable job this year when it comes to Android updates. As promised, the manufacturer released the KitKat update for its HTC One M7 and other devices within a few months after receiving the update, even the Sense 6 update. After rolling out the Android 4.4.3 update for its flagship device, reports suggest the same update is now rolling out for the HTC One M7 in parts of Europe.
Report suggests the update is rolling out in Slovakia and Romania, not just for the unlocked variant of the device, but carrier units as well.
The latest Android 4.4.3 update is not a very big one, and usually features bug fixes and enhancements. HTC has also decided to incorporate the bug fixes in the Android 4.4.4 update in it, so this could be the last KitKat update to reach the devices before Google rolls out the Android L update.
HTC already confirmed that they will update the HTC One family to the latest Android L update within 90 days after getting it from Google. The search engine giant is expected to release the update by the end of this year, and we’ll update you as soon as it rolls out.
