galaxy-s5-miniNot too long ago, Samsung unveiled the miniature version of their flagship device dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini is also heading to India, but it appears that it will be exclusive to Flipkart, a popular Indian retailer when it launches in the coming weeks.

Recently, the retailer’s official Facebook page posted a teaser of the Samsung Galaxy S5, revealing it will hit retail in the region through Flipkart only. Flipkart has done a commendable job in the past few months, offering devices exclusively, such as Moto G, and more recently, the Xiaomi Mi3. There’s no word about the exact launch date, nor the price tag it will carry. But, we don’t expect it to be any different than its price in other markets.

As a quick recap, the Samsung Galaxy S5 rocks a 4.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and is powered by a quad-core Exynos 3 Quad 3470 clocked at 1.4GHz. There’s 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB storage with a microSD card slot, 8MP camera for photos and videos, 2.1MP front-facing camera, 2,100 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat as its operating system out of the box.
