Leaks about the alleged Huawei Ascend Mate 7 have popped up all over the internet on a number of occasions. The Chinese OEM is expected to announce the alleged handset at IFA 2014 in Berlin. Recently, some more images of the alleged Huawei Ascend Mate 7 are leaked from Chinese shores, giving us a glimpse of the design and size of the purported device.
Take a closer look at the image above, and you’ll see the company’s logo, a camera with a LED flash, and what’s even more surprising is the fingerprint sensor on the back of the device. The device appears to feature a metallic design — sigh, it closely resembles the HTC One.
Based on previous reports, the alleged device will rock a 6.1-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, with a Kirin 920 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, an ARM Mali-T625 MP4 graphics chip and 2/3GB of RAM on board. On the rear, the handset is expected to come with a 13MP camera, as well as a 5MP front-facing camera. The alleged Huawei Ascend Mate 7 is rumored to ship with Android 4.4 KitKat with Huawei’s Emotions UI on top of it.
The company is rumored to launch the device next week at IFA 2014 in Berlin, we’ll update you as soon as it’s officially announced.
