Today at the 2014 IFA Consumer Electronic Unlimited show in Berlin, Lenovo unveiled their first Intel-powered Android tablet called, Lenovo Tab S8. According to Lenovo, the Tab S8 was created to cater to consumers who want stylish, slim and more importantly affordable Android tablet. Retailing for only $199, the Lenovo Tab S8 is an 8-inch Android tablet with 1920×1200 infinity screen which is said to be sharper than FHD. Said tablet also features a One Glass Solution touch-panel technology with crystal clear viewing experience.
In the looks department, Lenovo gave the Tab S8 a sleek clean look with an ultra-slim bezel that seamlessly merges the screen with the tablet’s dark front panel. But looks is not everything that the Tab S8 should be proud of. It also has a 1.6MP HD camera for video chatting. Aside from that, there is also an 8MP rear-facing camera with a wide aperture f2.2 lens. This will give you sharp photos even in low-light conditions.
Under the hood, the Lenovo Tab S8 is packed with Intel Atom Z3745 processor with Intel Burst Performance Technology. Simply put, the tablet’s processing power equally matches the task at hand to ensure maximum utilization of the its battery while at the same working at optimum speed. The Lenovo Tab S8 weighs only 0.65 lbs and is .31 inches thin.
Other features of the Lenovo Tab S8 include, LTE 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi, 7 hours of battery life, Bluetooth 4.0, Dolby-enhanced dual front speakers, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The Lenovo Tab S8 will start hitting the market this month.
