1My favorite thing to do with my gadgets is to wrap them up in fashion. Pretty phone cases, laptop skins and Nintendo pouches never fail to get me excited, but I haven’t purchased a new protective case for my MacBook Pro since I was a wee freshman at Towson University.

My old case was squishy, pink and reliable, but it was definitely time for a replacement when I received the Inateck MP1502.

The case is a felt material with leather accents and comes with a smaller, matching case to hold your charger cord. It’s snug and comfortable to carry and fits into any laptop bag for travel. On the back side of the case are two slots for carrying your phone, iPod, credit cards, etc…

The thickness is lacking, at least compared to my old, generic case. Whether or not it compromises the integrity of the case’s protection, I’m not sure. I didn’t drop my laptop to test it, but if I drop it by accident I’ll be sure to come back here and update you on my level of devastation.2

The big catch here is the separate charge cord case. It’s a little small if you want to pack your entire cord, including the bulky extension, but it works. Assuming you don’t need your bulky extension with you, the charger will fit  comfortably without creating extra bulk so the look remains sleek.

Ultimately, the case is worth its value at $16.99 for a 13″ or 15″.
