Remember those stupid slap bracelets from the 90s? Everyone was handing them out at their Sweet Sixteen parties or their Bar Mitzvahs, and they came in crazy patterns like leopard and bright neon. If you were me, you just used them as a weapon in case you needed to keep someone at arm’s length, but I guess they were also a fun fashion statement to match your choker. Gosh, can we just go back to the 90s?
I’m certain that by this point, you’ve come across a selfie stick in your daily life. Whether it’s tourists or annoying teenagers, they’ve become ubiquitous (much to my dismay). And just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, I came across the Pop Stick selfie stick slap bracelet. Basically, it’s a Bluetooth-enabled bracelet that uncurls into a selfie stick. You know, so you can bring your selfie stick wherever you go in a convenient and portable fashion.
The Pop Stick only extends 1.5 feet, so it’s not as lengthy as the conventional selfie stick, but it will still get the job done. Plus, you can stealthily transport is via the bracelet so that no one can judge you for being a selfie-obsessed millennial.
If you want to make sure the Pop Stick sees the light of day, keep an eye on its Kickstarter campaign, set to launch sometime later this month.
Frankly, I think this is the beginning of the end for society. See you later.
