Samsung’s YP-Z5 to take on the iPod nano

On Thursday at CES, Samsung will introduce their new YP-Z5 audio player. The player is flash-based and comes in 2GB and 4GB models. Other specs include a 1.8 inch LCD display, MP3 and WMA playback, and JPEG photo viewing. It also comes loaded with DNSe Digital Natural Sound Engine 3D audio processing which is expected to deliver high-quality audio.
The YP-Z5 is expected to launch in the first half of 2006.
