Cowon’s iAudio 6 with 0.85 inch hard drive

Cowan has officially announced that they will unveil their new iAudio player. They are claiming that the iAudio 6 is first portable media device to sport a 0.85 inch hard drive… definitely not true. The player will take on the iPod nano (and Samsung’s new YP-Z5 that we saw earlier today).

The device has a 1.3 inch OLED screen and will allow you to view videos, images, text, and obviously audio. So you might need a magnifying glass to watch the video, but at least you’ll look cool! It also has Cowon’s unique “%” shaped buttons which they’ve dubbed “Swing Touch.” The iAudio doubles as a digital photo wallet. If you want to free up some space on your digital camera on the go, you can do so with the USB Host technology. You can simply plug your digital camera directly into the device for storage when you’re not near a computer.
