Leave that camera behind, now there is no excuse. Samsung has announced an 8-megapixel camera phone, model SCH-V8200. This camera takes convergence to the next level. While arguments in the past have included the fact that current camera phones take, well, crappy pictures, this model certainly does not. The unit will not replace camera, as a lack of optical zoom is a major setback, but you no longer have to worry about missing that shot.
The price is still unknown but the phone is expected to hit the market in Korea sometime in the next six weeks.
