Dell drops the Digital Jukebox MP3 players

Dell Digital JukeboxDell stopped selling its hard drive MP3 players since they have not gained any share on the iPod. Dell discontinued three Digital Jukebox players that sold for between $200 to $300. Dell still will sell the $99, flash based, DJ Ditty. Dell introduced the music players in 2003 as part of a strategy to expand sales beyond desktop PCs. Dell will continue selling music players from other device makers, including Creative, on its Web site.
