Printable glossy inkjet CDs and DVDs

Verbatim announced today at PMA a new family of glossy white inkjet printable 52X CDR and 16X DVD+/-R media. The new glossy discs feature an inkjet-printable surface that provides superior ink absorption and excellent drying properties. When combined with any color inkjet printer, users can print photo-quality images directly to the disc surface to customize their CDs and DVDs.

Verbatim’s new glossy white inkjet-printable media will be available in April in spindle and slim jewel case configurations. Expected shelf pricing starts at $19.99 for the 20-pack of CD-Rs and $24.99 for the 20-pack of DVDRs.
