Most importantly, we saw the fall in price for set-up DVRs—from $500+ to about $200 or so—and a little thing they’re calling DirectFlix. The new systems will also include a proactive service request system which will allow DirectTV DVRs to inform technicians if it’s going on the fritz and allow them to fix them remotely.
