Transferring music from a CD to an iPod without a PC sounds great. The only problem is that the device costs about $250 and most likely you already have a PC.

One day a hip busy, on-the-go, creative, and energetic young urbanite, fresh out of college said one of those magical “I wish”… and the iLoad was born. To her Dad, an energetic and creative guy, she said, “Dad, doesn’t it seem nuts that I can’t get music onto my new iPod without having to bootup and mess with a PC? I sure wish there was a way for me to just enjoy all of my music without the whole computer thing.” The rest is history.

All in all, it’s pretty good, considering it’s size and transportability, and I like their story.
