E3 2006: Windows Vista’s games get a makeover

The free but useful games (useful = good time wasters) that come with Windows have not been surprised up in a long time. Well they have no longer been overlooked by the Windows team. With the release of Vista later this year sometime in 2007, your favorite time wasters will get a refresh. Solitaire, MineSweeper, Hearts, Majong Titans, Chess Titans, and Inkball are all getting a graphical redesign to coincide with the new ‘open/fresh’ Vista look. There will also be a new 3-in-1 game aimed at kids called Purple Place. Finally, to make sure you are actually working at work the Vista games won’t be included in some business versions.
