Pioneer’s multi-room audio system plays through the power lines

We’ve all heard of streaming audio around your house, but what about through power lines? Pioneer has launched a multi-room sounds system that plays music through your home’s power lines. It seems that companies are finally understanding that they should be using the existing cables that everyone already has. The MT-01 Power Line Sound System (creatively named) has support for up to six speakers, but only comes with two of them. The MT-01 includes a motion sensor so it knows when you walk into, and leave rooms, adjusting the music appropriately. Additionally, the unit supports multi-room playback from two different sources. This means you can play different music in different rooms of the house. Also included is a remote. Sounds pretty sweet, doesn’t it?
