Sirius Internet RadioWe heard earlier this month about Sirius’ plans for an online radio service called Sirius Internet Radio (SIR). The service officially launched today with all of the same specs that were leaked at that time. SIR is complementary to current traditional Satellite subscribers. The price is $12.95 for an online-only account (for non-subscribers), and $6.99 for each additional account. If you’re already a Sirius Satellite Radio subscriber and want to upgrade your current free SIR account to high-bandwidth, CD-quality streaming, that will run you just $2.99.
