Headplay, Inc. is developing the Personal Cinema System, a portable headset that will give the impression of a true stereoscopic 3-D image on a 52 in. screen to the eyes. It’ll work with any device with video output such as DVD players, game systems, cell phones, iPod, PC, USB thumbdrives and MP3 players and include a universal adapter for SD, XD, Memory Stick or Smart Media. The PCS will run for up to 6 hours on batteries thanks to the “Liberator” and ship with a remote control device. No photos of the contraption yet, but we’ll post it when we have it.
