Apple iPod nano Red

Just yesterday, the news came out about Apple’s plans to launch a Red iPod nano as Bono and Oprah were in a Chi-town store to announce it. Well guess what!? They’ve already begun shipping it. Apple is launching the device in support for the Global Fund, which helps fight AIDS in Africa. Similar to the RAZR that is due for Sprint in November, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the cause. According to Apple, “…$10 from every iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED sold goes directly to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa.”

The new nano only comes in the 4GB flavor and will run you $199. You can already swoop one up at the red Apple Store.
