Harmon Kardon Guide PlayHarmon Kardon is widely known as a speaker and media centric company. Next year however, it looks like they’re going to broaden their horizon by jumping into the GPS market. Their new Harmon Kardon Guide + Play in-car navigation unit will off a 4 inch screen, and will act as a media viewer. The device will play your standard digital music formats as well as MPEG4 and WMV on the video front – just don’t watch video while you’re driving. The Guide + Play will feature a 5 hour battery life and will accept up to 4GB SD cards for your media storage needs. The first of Harmon Kardon’s GPS series will launch in January 2007 for $499.
