Logitech’s new MP3-friendly speaker system

One of Logitech’s items on display at this CES will be the X-240, a new computer speaker system that should make it easier to charge, sync and play music from MP3 players. The speakers include specialized iPod and Zune cradles but will accommodate other audio devices and mobile phones. The speakers’ control center also includes a master volume control, audio controls for either a Mac or PC, power buttons and a convenient headphone jack.

The Logitech X-240 speaker system will retail for $49.99 and is expected to become available April 2007 in the US and early May 2007 in Europe.
