anydata hsdpa routerAnyData’s newest router (AWR-600WK), is a HSDPA 2.1 GHz IP router that supports 802.11 b/g, includes 4 ethernet ports and allows up to 253 simultaneous users. It comes with the standard web-based control panel, firmware updates, logging, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN and shiny LEDs.

If you decide to make a hotspot, it offers a secure Wi-Fi local network with data exchange rates of 54 Mbps using the WLAN. It seems like a pretty standard router, though a bit smaller than average (6.1 x 1.1 x 4.7 in.). Expect it to be a bit more expensive than the average home model since AnyData appears to be targeting cafes and delis that want to offer customers a place to connect to the web while spilling food and drinks on their laptops.

  1. Can you tell me if the Anydata AWR-600WK works with the AT&T Sierra 875U air card? I have tried two other routers that wouldn't work with this air card. It's HSDPA and plugs into the USB port (I do have a pcmcia card that the card can plug into). Thank you!
