We’ve been anticipating the official introduction of the Motorola RIZR Z3 for a while now. Today, Motorola and T-Mobile announced the launch of the new slim quad-band GSM slider, exclusively on T-Mobile. The Z3 has launched in “vibrant pearl blue with soft-touch finish.” I am a huge fan of the soft-touch finish that Motorola has been casing their latest phones in. It feels like rubber, but does not scratch like rubber.
On the camera front, the RIZR Z3 features a 2.0 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom, high-intensity camera light, landscape view finder, and a dedicated external camera button. The unit also has a built-in music player supporting all of your favorite formats, and stereo Bluetooth for hands-free listening.
Also included is a microSD card slot supporting up to 2GB of storage, and USB 2.0 connectivity. The MOTORIZR Z3 is available today, for just $99.99 with a 2 year contract, and $249.99 with no contract. We’ve got one on the way, so stay tuned for a Peep Show and Review from Gadgetell.
