Here’s more evidence that the line between phone and PDA is blurring even more. Mobile game developer Gameloft will be making BlackBerry compatible games… or, really, more BlackBerry compatible games.
A C-Net article cites the release of the more phone-y BlackBerry Pearl as a motivating factor, though I suspect it’s really the company is simply looking to expand its buyer base. Games to be made for BlackBerry addicts, er, I mean users, include Pro Golf 2007, Midnight Pool, Asphalt: Urban GT 2, a poker game, a battle simulation game, and games based on the television shows Desperate Housewives and Lost. Most of the games appear to cost $799 or $9.99 and the GameLoft site already lists games for the BlackBerry 7230, 7290 and 8700.
The good news is that when you are in the BlackBerry prayer position during a meeting at work, you can tell your boss you are responding to important clients when you are really trying to blast aliens or par the 9th.

I have seen gameloft games previously, they are working really well. The new gameloft is also looking good lets see how well it works.
