I know I’ve done it before. I purchased a couple songs off of an album on iTunes only to go back later and purchase the whole album from the iTunes Music Store and end up paying more than the $9.99. Today, Apple announced a new feature called “Complete My Album” (iComplete must have been taken).
Now, users who buy a single for $.99 have up to 180 days from their purchase to use the Complete My Album feature, allowing them to buy the entire album and receive full credit for the $.99 they already spent on the single
This feature is much appreciated by myself especially, as I tend to purchase a track or 2 and end up going back to purchase the whole album, because it still works out cheaper than buying every other song singly. It may only be $.99, but that’s enough to purchase another song you didn’t have.
