PowerBlock Travel is a ready-to-go kit that incorporates Griffin’s PowerBlock AC power adapter with just about every kind of AC wall plug adapter that you’re likely to need. The revised PowerBlock Travel now features twist and lock adapters along with a new look in sleek black. PowerBlock, is able to seamlessly convert any AC voltage from 100V to 240V without spikes or surges. Its built-in Type A USB also allows users to recharge any USB-rechargeable device.
For iPod users, a detachable dock connector cable is included for docking iPod models; first generation iPod shuffle can be charged by direct plug-in to PowerBlock’s USB port, and second-generation iPod shuffle can connect via its own dock cable.

This is an improvement over the Apple "World Travel" Kit, how? For a buck less I skip the car charger and get two others, so I can also including China, Korea, and South America to my itinerary.
