Sony decides to play nice with iPod

Sort of odd that a company known for its rivalry with the iPod starts manufacturing iPod accessories. Does this count as throwing in the towel? Well, whatever it means Sony has decided to play nice and today released the TDM-iP1 for its Bravia line of home theater systems.

This pretty little dock, in glossy black, will let you play and control music and video (via a composite output) from your Bravia home theater, while also charging your iPod in the process. The device works almost as the middleman between your iPod and home theater.

The dock is priced at $99, but for you iPod owners who also have a home theater, it may be the perfect addition.
